Duties: This Section deals with dispose of Petitions relating to domestic/Commercial Water Connection and Correspondence water P.H.E. to convey feasibility report.
Also To dispose of the Petition relating to shifting of water pipe line and dispose of the petition for repairing of water pipe lines both Domestic/Commercial. Currently, there is no urban water supply scheme in Barpeta Town. A total of 5 Community Water Purification Plant is being constructed under the 15th Finance Commission grants 2023. Under AMRUT Mission, Water supply scheme is being developed.
